About

Yuting (Roxy) Tang is an independent curator and researcher based in Shenzhen and Shanghai. Her current research interests involve speculative futures, digital humanities and artificial technology, postcolonial and postmodern.

Her recent curatorial projects include: “The Postman Always Rings Twice,” PETITREE, Shenzhen (2024) ; “Circulating Sketch,” Teagan Gallery, Aranya/Beijing (2024); “People’s Park Plinth,” Furtherfield, London (2021). Her most recent articles have been featured in Art Review, The Art Newspaper China, Wallpaper, OCULA, IDEAT, Art-Ba-Ba, Ming Pao and ARTIST HK.

She is now the senior curator in Suzhou H+ Museum, and the academic fellow of Design Society. Previously, she served as the Head of Collection and Research at Pingshan Art Museum (Shenzhen, 2021-2024) and Exhibition Manager at ShanghART Gallery (Shanghai, 2017-2019). She holds a second M.A. Degree in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art, UK. Before that, she was graduated with first-class honors both with B.A. and M.A. Degrees from the Fine Art College, Nanjing Normal Univeristy.
